Re: ASD discussion, our diagnostic system is clearly terrible ("impairment" always being inherently subjective). But I also think that increased use of technology is re-wiring kids brains (all of our brains, really!) in ways we don't yet fully understood. It's certainly impacting all kinds of things that underlie neurodevelopment broadly, such as attention and the acquisition of basic social and relational skills. Not to mention incentivizing different behaviors...

Great discussion - particularly enjoyed the "arms race" discussion to get into medical school. It is a major problem damaging the lives of young people. AAMC and medical school deans need to address this. Not clear at all that it it producing better medical students or doctors. It may be doing the opposite - producing doctors who are more entitled, obedient, and focused on financial success.

Fantastic episode - I will miss Vinay, I am a subscriber of his. But after following you all on Sensible Medicine I am a subscriber here as well! I have to say that my favorite part of the podcast is the banter - it feels so much like a thoughtful and fun conversation, albeit about incredibly important things. Keep up the great work - the entire public appreciates it!

There were several question about in face meeting and CME.

It seems to me that you very rapidly put down this possibility because , from my take on your expressions this was too much work for something that should not require CME.

My opinion, I heard your podcast today for the second time. It was very interesting, informative and certainly worth my time.

For some reason I see no video but a logo and your voices. I now have a paid subscription , hopefully being able to see your faces in the future.

It is a governmental, specialty boards and hospitals that require us to have some number of CME's. Your discussions in Sensible Medicine seem to me valuable enough for a paid subscription. If you give 0.5 - 1 hr worth of CME to the listener while they get truly useful medical information, they would have a double benefit.

I am recently retired and have allowed my medical license to expire so CME is no longer important for me. Some of my non retired colleagues still require it. All in all, .... I think it would be a good idea while they listen to your very worth while discussion of medical issues.

Thank you for your time!
