Fully behind you on the longevity guru rant so won’t waste time on that. Just like to pick up on your epistemological tenet: “The only thing that tells you something will work is a well-designed clinical trial.”. You also say “I spend a lot of time on Sensible Medicine criticizing medicine” As a dedicated follower my perception is that most of the time on SM is spent critiquing clinical trials. There may be some selection ‘bias’ but the conclusion is very rarely that a trial was well-designed and executed. So I’m wondering whether you really think that all the interventions to prevent and effectively treat diseases that once caused premature deaths which occurred from infancy through the 70s’ were established ‘to work’ through well designed and executed clinical trials?
