Thank you for this article. I'm a runner and have often had people tell me it is hard on my body and I shouldn't do it. I'm 48, with two young kids, and I'm still in good shape, because of running. My knees have never bothered me, even though people love to tell me how hard running is on my knees. In the back of my head I always thought my running years were numbered as I'm getting more and more aches and pains. I see a chiropractor or massage therapist, which usually resolves my pain. My mom is 80, hikes regularly with friends, sometimes up to 10 miles and she does floor exercises and jumps on a rebounder daily. My dad is 82, never exercised and now has dementia and walks very slowly. I'm following my moms lead.

Maintaining Healthy Metabolic Health would be a very useful subject for our Sensible Medicine team.
