This is a wonderful site! I wish this was available well before I retired in 2022. I’d certainly make an effort to attend a “Sensible Medicine” conference.
I’m glad to see Vinay Prasad back in the conversation. While I often don’t agree with his approach, he does push us to think hard about the data, and I have no doubt he’s trying to do what’s best for patients.
I’d really like to hear more of his thinking on RP1 in melanoma. That decision was a bit of a head scratcher for many of us in the melanoma space, especially given how limited the options can be after PD-1.
I don’t know what role he specifically played and don’t want to assume, but given the attention this has gotten it would be helpful to hear how he thinks about it.
My patients are aware of the decision and are trying to understand what this means for them.
This has been a very valuable site for me. Thank you.
My wife and I just watched Ben MacKenzie's movie "Everyone is Lying to you for Money". Although it is an expose of cryptocurrency showing how it is a fraud, the lessons could easily be applied to modern medicine. Near the end of the movie Ben tries to show the world that they are being scammed by crypto, the true believers carry on investing in it and put Ben down. It reminds me how the healthy sceptics of medicine are managed by ignoring them, discrediting them or even vilifying them.
So excited for your return. I am so sad that our country did not utilize your expertise and appreciate you to the fullest. Please continue your work and your fight for transparency and excellence in patient care here! God bless you in your endeavors.

We missed you Vinay.

Would genuinely be interested in his perspective.
Best. News. Ever.
Very excited for what’s to come. Love this site and happy to see Dr. Prasad is back. Let the fun begin!
VP keeps us honest and thinking outside of the box. We don't have to agree but we must keep dialogue open
Welcome back! We missed you. Was hoping your stay could have been longer and more successful but the door is now cracked open!
