Happy to have Vinay back but sad he isn't influencing the FDA anymore! Side note, why do the editors at the WSJ hate him so much? It reads like a personal vendetta- they attack at any chance.
Welcome back ! Thank you to the entire Sensible Med team for all the insights and this initiative. Ending Medical Reversal, Malignant, and all the COVID coverage have really changed my practice. It's a pleasure to read every article and to take a new look at our practice every week. Keep up this valuable work.
Vinay was missed if they didn’t let him cook there (and the whole crappy Moderna trial he voiced concern about was an objective good he could do) - glad he’s cooking here. Medicine needs your team!
Yippee! How I have missed Dr. Prasad's wonderful--can't think of how to accurately describe the wonderfulness of Dr. Prasad: his vision, his insight, his unparalleled humor/irony in all things. But also his warmth and sincerity, knowledge and philosophical understanding. This news makes me so happy. Yippee!
Thank you for the recap and welcome back Vinay! I found my way to Sensible Medicine after seeing a podcast with Zubin, Vinay & Marty (which was informative & good comic relief) in which Vinay talked about SM. Thankful for all of you. Keep up this valuable work!
I’m thrilled to get to hear directly from Vinay again but now that much more concerned about medical leadership in the US without his intellect and integrity in a position of authority. Thank God Dr. Makary is still there.
Welcome back Vinay. (Well done!) Just a correction to the central question:
How do we ensure medical decisions are made WITH good and reliable evidence, BY the most appropriate and transparently sourced and documented preferences...?
BTW I'd be interested to hear SM thoughts on the optimal level of 'cynisism'
A Meeting in person would be a great opportunity; and John could find a a venue at the next Heart Rhythm Society meeting in San Francisco in May 2027 !
Vinay is my guy. I just renewed my subscription.
So, so,so excited Vinay is back!!! He has been sorely missed, disgusting how the complex attacked him. I really had hope...
Eager to hear his thoughts on Paxlovid.

I AM excited about SM 3.0. I enjoyed reading the history! I’ve been reading since the beginning.
Re-reading the Paxlovid expose reminds me why I regretted VPs departure and celebrate his return.
