I have been so frustrated over the course of the past two years with the erosion of critical thinking skills among my colleagues and the injection of politics and opinion into the world of evidence-based medicine. “A group of fringe right wing Covid denying doctors have started a newsletter around something called sensible medicine. They claim that medicine is a risk benefit analysis and the benefit of every therapeutic must be weighed against the risks of administering it. Experts say such ideas are dangerous and can be extremely harmful given the current community spread of Covid and have called upon the President to immediately shut this down.”
