I'm curious as to how you decided that cruelty and abuse are mutually exclusive, and that "real abuse" is binary. In my experience, cruelty is abusive (by definition) and abusive acts fall somewhere on a spectrum.

@Vinay - appreciate the topics and candor so far. I practice full-time bariatric medicine. If you ever want to discuss obesity, I’d be happy to help.

Great! Thank you for bringing common sense back into medicine!

I have listened to all these podcasts to date and these two are the perfect mix of humor and truth! Always sit on the edge of my seat for the next show!

I am very much looking forward to this! I'm a geriatric NP and have 2 small kids so I enjoy being able to learn different aspects of medical treatment in my car to and from work! Thanks for all you do!

Love the format, content, style and humor. You both are an inspiration. I listen when mainstream media is non-sensual…which is daily. Reminds me that there are critical thinkers out there besides me!

This was fun! Can you post links to the economics and legal podcasts that Vinay likes? Good luck with Sensible Medicine--it's great so far.

I really like both of you and Paul Offit (he has skeletons btw) but do not trust your view on this particular "medical intervention". I follow what happens ten months post booster and that is a gaping hole in your position.

Enjoy all your stuff....my confirmation bias certainly at work here, and perhaps I'm misunderstanding your point, but the idea of not being extreme one way or another as being "sensible" seems arbitrary to me.... the evidence to me indicates a "conspiracy without a head" i.e. there may or may not be an actual organized conspiracy per se, but if certain flawed philosophical values have been ingrained into society for long enough, these things can happen spontaneously, like other fashions and trends.... "telling older people not to get vaccinated is "crazy""..... how about "before getting vaccinated, regardless of age, be as informed as possible about benefits and risks" ?

I will check this out to be open minded. VP does a decent job, but I may have a hard time taking ZD seriously based on his past body of work.

Lose the vulgarities and cursing.

speaking of who you can trust.... for me, and this may not be valid... but professionalism does dictate.... well, professionalism...

Some of us are HERE for the vulgarities & cursing 😂🔥

There has been a considerable coursening of society over the last few decades. Let's not add to it.

You do understand that this is a current examination of a physician who just went ballistic and cursed excessively and very publicly, using all of those swear words on twitter under his/her own professional identity?

And ditto for the hosts of the podcast. Not needed.

I guess ZDogg has selective memory regarding escape variants. Check out this video. https://youtu.be/NEyQi__zTuo

It was really interesting looking at some of the articles that came up when I Googled ZDogg. History is being rewritten. In looking at the headlines and reading articles you would think that the poor mainstream physicians that were pro vax (literally 90+% were in lockstep with the CDC) were under some kind of attack by the anti vax physicians. It was all they could do to defend themselves. Please. Which group was shut out of their Twitter and Facebook accounts? Which group was being censured by their state medical boards and losing privileges at their hospitals? Losing long held positions at universities? And for what? Putting out ideas and information that has sense proven to be in large part correct. ZDogg was at the forefront of this sad period in medicine. We may never get over it.

Expand full comment

Right. As I recall, ZDogg has dedicated a fair amount of time to making fun of “anti-vaxxers” who questioned the potential pharmaceutical influence on ACIP/FDA or who asked for better vaccine trials or independent safety monitoring when it came to other vaccines. Is he now ready to do a deep dive into the trials and safety of the childhood schedule?

Expand full comment

I do wonder why Dr. Prasad defends the CDC childhood schedule with zero of his beloved RCTs to demonstrate its overall safety. It has ballooned from 16 vax doses in 1986 to 69 doses today by age 18 (54 by age 5) and not a single CDC study to prove its safety as a whole. Makes no sense.

Would it be possible to just cut to the chase. Some of the banter is funny but I simple don't have the time to waste on fluff.

To answer the question. The response to covid has unmasked the utter corruption of the American healthcare system. Some of the worst culprits are the state certification boards who have successfully muzzled in any doctor from speaking out about the obvious death and injury caused by the lethal injections they see every single day in their practices or pretend not to know. By and large, the medical profession knows exactly what is going with debilitating adverse reactions and sudden deaths. But they don't want to be decertified for spreading "disinformation" so they say and do nothing and defer to the great and powerful and "trustworthy" likes of the CDC, FDA, NIH, HHS who are now exposed to anyone paying any attention as utterly corrupt institutions not worth their salt in credibility. If you want to know who to trust in medicine, start with the default position that medicine is untrustworthy. Then pray God will help you find someone who isn't caught up in the Mass Formation and actually has a clear head about all the fraud going on and is willing to treat you with early treatment covid protocols when needed. That is one of the tell tale signs to look for when trying determine if a doctor is trustworthy. Until then, be skeptical.

Expand full comment

Yes, bang on Michael. My visceral response to this was "Trust? You've got to be kidding me." Blind trust in these institutions IS the problem. It's how they were able to get away with murder, and the public just blindly went along, thinking they were in good hands. I'd like to propose that "trust" be jettisoned from the public consciousness, and replaced with skepticism, critical thinking, and holding these criminals accountable.

This could be a VERY valuable thing you have started. I know your approach will be scientific as you understand it. I actually want a 'Dr Spock' evaluation of all things medical/scientific.

Expand full comment

I am sincerely hoping that you intended to write 'Mr. Spock'? (No offense to the reputable Dr. Spock of yore obviously). I will actually take Doc Vader's pithy evaluation in a pinch.

Shout out to Dr. Farid Jalali (who actually is and always will be f*cking 'Sherlock') but adheres to purity tests and thereby has lost his sense of humor. He has worked far too hard and cared way too much in a deceitful, unappreciative world.

Yes, thank you. Mr Spock - the unemotional rational logical factual character.
