Problem with Assisted Suicide is the same with other issues against natural law (abortion, divorce, etc.) It always leads to man making it worse. Man keeps changing the original law to more liberating laws of emotion and feelings instead of what’s good and natural.

As far as protections, that’s what they said about abortions. Now it includes infanticide and leaving babies crying and starving to death in a room, abandoned to die if not wanted because of disability or other “unwanted” issues. People are weak because they don’t suffer through the difficulties of life. Now, when they get smacked with something that was not “part of the plan”, it’s discarded or ignored at the expense of even a living being. Woe to those who have lost compassion, especially since this evil is growing. It will eventually turn on you too.

As a gay man I've been violating natural law for as long as I can remember and certainly since at least 2003, when I married the man who had theretofore been my life partner for 20 years. We're still together.

As for "liberating laws of emotion and feelings," I am enjoying nothing more or nothing less than what a straight person who was healthy in mind and body would in their marriage or domestic partnership. And no, I have no plans to marry my cat.

I agree. These new "choices and directives" go against the natural order of things. The God given order of things...sad that people have lost sight of that.

I think it's sad that the "god-given order of things" is used to frighten people and impair a better sort of human life and freedom. Lucretius in ancient Rome wrote about how religion then was a source of fear and darkness, and in my opinion it still is.
